HI Tide Coffee started as a "one day" dream. The kind of idea you imagine long before you ever build it. For owners Solomon and Zion Klar, that dream was simple: what would it be like to one day own a coffee shop?
That question turned into HI Tide Coffee, a drive-thru RV coffee truck now serving the Bellingham, WA and Ferndale, WA community. From the beginning, we were intentional about more than just the coffee. We wanted every visit to feel like an experience — the vibe, the smiles, the moment. We want each stop at our coffee shop on wheels to be a highlight of your day, not just a stop on your errand list.
Coffee is part of nearly everyone's routine, whether that's a quiet moment at home, a stop at your favorite coffee shop, or a coffee on the go between meetings. We wanted to be part of that routine — bringing creativity, craftsmanship, and a little bit of art to every cup we serve.
Our Vision
Growing Coffee Catering Across Whatcom & Skagit County
Our vision for HI Tide Coffee over the next decade is to grow into a name that's synonymous with connection not only in Whatcom and Skagit County but nationally. We want to expand where our RV coffee truck can be found — from our home spots in Bellingham, WA and Ferndale, WA to mutli-state locations. Serving customers everyday their usual coffee order as well as being seen at community events, weddings, and corporate gatherings across the region through our coffee catering services. Our goal is to never lose the personal, small-business feel that got us started.
As we grow, our goal stays the same: create a brand people feel like they're a part of, not just customers of. We want HI Tide Coffee to be a place and a drive-thru coffee truck where lasting connections are made, one cup at a time.
